I'm not sure if I should make a fm to Thief 2 or Thief 3 next... But considering that there aren't too many T3 fms maybe I should make my next one to it. The engine is really laggy and buggy though.

uhm i guess it would be better to make a thief 2 fm. cuz there are not many ppl who play thief 3 missions. and u can make more things with thief 2 ( new objects, new textures,....) .
btw "Moi" means "Hello" right? in nederlands it is "Hoi" in german it is "Hallo". We have a Finnish player in Unreal INF ( btw he ownz xD) and he speaks Finnish  .

Maybe. I have many T2 fms started that I'd like to finish but DromEd is so frustrating sometimes...
And yeah 'Moi' means 'Hello.'

omg lol xD your crazy. i started my first Fm 4 month ago and i am still working on it  and i guess it will take a while till it will be ready^^. i worked to hard on my fm so i wont start a new 1 till this 1 is ready =P.

Yeah, I have lots of crappy unfinished fms instead of one or two good ones. 
I worked on Curse of the Hammerites for over a year. But it took so long only because I kept sometimes really long breaks from DromEdding. I've done a few fms before but I didn't want to release them because they sucked so much.
Hope you release your fm as soon as possible, do you have any screenshots of it? (or is it a top secret project? )

hehe it would be good if i could release my -->Project<-- ( not FM) soon but i planed to make 4 Fm's and as u can see i havnt even finshed the first ^^. i have a few screenshots but i dont want to post them for the "non-german"ppl. only german ppl some my screens "awsome" they say hehe =p. i am sorry but no screens for ya yet, but ill post on ttlg.com soon cuz i need alot of help, voice actors and stuff.

Oh, sorry. I tend to forget about this forum sometimes 'cause there are so little amount of visitors here. 
But anyway, here are *finally* some screenshots from one of my missions: (they were pretty dark so I had to increase brightness a bit, so they look kinda 'foggy' now...) http://koti.welho.com/khavulin/thiefscreens/ The mission starts in Garrett's current hideout, which is hidden in the woods. But there is a City Watch guard outside it, as seen in the screenshot #1 Garrett has to get past him somehow. (knockout or kill )
Second picture is from Garrett's basement. There's really nothing to do there actually, I just wanted to add a basement. Third one shows his living room. (He's been drunk last night so the chair's fallen )
Fourth is a picture of Garrett's bedroom. There he must pick up his equipment, including front door key, before going outside. Though you can just climb outta window but then the guard would kill you for sure.
Fifth shows what's waiting for Garrett outside his house after dealing with the guard. There are three paths to follow. (left, right, straight ahead) Sixth shows what enemies there are waiting for Garrett in one of the paths. 
And finally, the last one shows some thieves. They are friendly to Garrett and let Garrett inside their hideout. So, that's one of many missions I've been working on. It's actually incredibly small. I've just started so many missions, I don't know which one to continue. Actually, I haven't played Thief or opened DromEd in pretty long time, maybe three or four months now. I just got bored, DromEdding is so time consuming. 
I'll just have to see if I get in 'Thief-mood' again. Meanwhile, I've been playing some other medieval games, like Oblivion or Gothic 3. Btw, I'm buying a new computer sometime before summer, this one's totally messed up.. Takes freakin' four minutes to open and crashes all the time... I'll just have to hope Thief and other games still work on Vista.
(Oh and I'll have to chance the forum style someday, the url-links apparently don't show in different color than normal text.. huh) |

"The Skull of St.Yora" ist a very good Thief 2 Mission.
"KotP- Campaign by Frobber" a very good Thief 2 Campaign. "Night Falcon" good Thief 2 Campaign. "Broken Hammers" good Thief2 Mission. "Dark Messiah" good Thief2 Mission. "What lies Below" very good Thief2 Mission. "A Night in Rocksbourg 1&2" both are great Missions. too lazy to type the other missions

Well maybe someday, luckily I still got my older computer which can run Thief.
I just have been away from Thief for a while, relaxing from all the stress caused by DromEd crashing.

Ain't that done already? Meaning Cragscleft Prison. (or however it's written, second mission from TDP) Hmm.. well have to see what kind of mission I'll make, or if I make any at all. (don't worry, probably I will ) It just takes some time to really get into DromEdding.
Btw, I tried running T2 on this new computer, it worked but graphics were messed up and it crashed after 15 seconds. Thief 3 works OK though, but I *STILL* can't run it on full settings, it seems that it was really badly coded..

No, I'm still here. Been posting on TTLG recently.
I have the same problem with Thief like many others do: http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=113501 Can't play Thief since I have Geforce 8800 GTS 
...and that also means that I can't do anything with DromEd.

By the way, did you know that The Dark Mod demo has been released? It's a Doom 3 -> Thief Total Conversion mod. http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=118943 I might start making FMs to that after they release it... in next December.
